I was always interested in complementary health. My father bought me a book when I was 10, it wasn’t
a comic or story book but even more fascinating- with pictures and diagrams of different parts of the
body mapped on the feet. It was a book about Reflexology. This intrigued me.
I have family and friends that have had a positive experience with complementary health. My mother
worked as a nurse, I did work experience at the hospital and I learnt how stress can really effect
people.
I soon found this to be true. Working in sales for many years, was very stressful. It affected me and I didn't want to end up like those I saw in the hospital. Chasing money and dreams was not fulfilling.
I will continue to develop and learn more. I have completed additional training in the following:
1. Stress
2. Anatomy of the feet
3. Menopause
4. Posture for health and well being
5. Observation and palpation for assessment
I wanted to help people manage their symptoms and reduce stress, in a way that doesn't give any
side effects or pain, but works with the body in harmony.
Reflexology has been the answer I was looking for. It was there in front of me many years ago. I
pursued a course at Temple Academy in Milton Keynes. I completed the course and I thoroughly
enjoyed it and I knew I made the right choice.
We have been through so much in the last two years and I would like to do my part using
reflexology. A holistic therapy working on the body as a whole, non-invasive with no side effects.
I'm providing a mobile service, visiting clients at the comfort of their home or work place. Wherever
they are most comfortable and at peace.
